Why do you choose to be a member of TMEA?
TnMEA provides fantastic professional development! But I also appreciate the advocacy they provide to the state and the publications they send throughout the year. TnMEA is also an invaluable resource for bringing music teachers together.
What do you love about teaching?
I absolutely love the excitement and joy that the students have when learning new games and concepts in music class. It's a constant reminder that learning can and should be a joyful process.
If you could choose another job for one day, what would it be?
4th horn in a major orchestra
Tell us one thing about you that people would be surprised to know or something you are passionate about besides teaching.
I thoroughly enjoy taking my family up to Canada to fish for Northern Pike!!
